a dancing star in me

hmm so dunno wether m a start yet or not..rather i shud put it as a star in making...started dancing as soon as i learnt 2 walk.bt formal trainin in bharatnatyam began wen i ws 5 yrs of age..since den i hv been dancin till date.in ma durga puja,in annual days of ma dance academy n schools,colg fests etc..d noted auditoriums i hv perfomd in are triveni kala sangam,delhi tamil sangam,YMCA auditorium,india international centre,FICCI auditorium n a few more..

Thnks 2 mum 4 recognizin d talent in me n lettin me learn dis beautiful art form.youngsters 2day stay away fm classical things n consider dem as boring..may b due to westernization of r culture..bt i realy feel sad 4 dat...dis is r culture dat is most ancient n most importantly its our OWN thing..v havent learned it or borrowed steps fm sum1 else..dats d prob wid indians..throw away ur own things n copy other's..y r indians such typical copy cats..n its realy depressing 2 c dat big dance shows lyk boogie woogie n DID also promote contemproray more..only in 1-2 episodes dey show sum performer doin classical n dats it..such a sheer disrespect..

its nt dat western dance is bad..no issues in mastering it..bt at d same time v shud pay atleast sum respect 2 d ppl learnin or doin classical..nt hooting negatively wen sum dancer(who has put everythin f her lyf in2 it) is dancing on stage..ppl find classical boring.bt lemme tel u its actualy damn interesting..if u get tym den plz do learn any f d 7 classical dances of india.jst a piece of advice.aftr ol its ur wish watevr u wanna do or learn..

well i created ma blog quite a few months back den dint post nethin.nw dat i hv finally decided 2 regularly update my blog, lemme start ma blog wid my intro.well i dnt hv nethin 2 boast abt.anushree sengupta is ma name,n d above 2 words cutie n swty describe me d best..although i loose ma temper 2 much at tyms bt mostly m vry sweet 2 b wid.

m a delhiite.born here ws brot up here.columbia ws ma first skool(play skool) were i learnt d basics f lyf.i ws depressed on being separated fm mom (who used 2 b wid me 24*7), bt later started adjustin.den proper skoolin began fm new era public skool.i studied dere till 8th std.in 9th n 10th i wntd 2 tk sanskrit as ma 2nd language bt dat wsnt available in new era.it ws compulsory 2 tk hindi dere.since sanskrit is scorin i thot f changin ma skool n gv a admn test at dps dwarka.OMG!! i gt selected.dat ws a beginnin f a new lyf.9th std ws vry sad as i missed new era n frnds ovr dere lyk hell.slowly n steadily made new frnds at dps n den gt used 2 it.wich means i cried 2 tymes-while joinin ma play skool n den 4 a yr aftr joinin dps.

Gv ma 10th board,result ws gud bt missed scholarships 4 e few marks.gt 99 in maths n 92 in sanskrit.1 mor mark in maths n 3 mor in sanskrit cud hv fetched me a scholarship fm CBSE.so d purpose of shiftin fm new era ws nt fulfilled.bt i nvr regretted ma dps days.

nw came yrs full of predicaments-11th n 12th std.i ws completely blowed off by d pressure..suddenly studies had bcum so tough.OMG. i thot dat i wud b stayin in 11th 4 atleast 2-3 yrs.bt thanks 2 god i passed.den in 12th situation improved..in 12th boards also sumhw i managed 2 score well.nt as gud as 10th std bt nt bad evn...

nw i had 2 luk 4ward 2 my colg admissions...nvr prepared 4 engg entrance xams..jst filled up d forms n sat 4 dem.gt poor rank in AIEEE.sumhw managed 2 get an ok-ok rank in ip university..ws plannin 2 drop a yr bt parents sed no n joind HMRITM..it has a location problem.located in a vry remote area..ppl say bekar colg hai..bt i dnt agree..dis colg has changed my lyf in many ways.as far as studies r concerned in colg teachers hardly tk any responsibilty of d students.bt d best part of HMR is dat i gt a vry gud set of frnds. i luv dem sooooo much.dey mean everythin 2 me..can share each n every thing of ma lyf widout any hesitation..sumtymes i also njoy fightin wid dem.bt i truly luv dem.dunno hw wil i survive widout dem aftr colg gets over..
well dats ol as far as my student lyf is concerned..next target is a gud MBA colg.nw i wnt go n gv ma entrances widout preparation as i did in 12th.this time i gotta b serius since ma career is at stake..wish me luck plzzz!!!
